Bulls, North Island. April 2009 Ajr I'm in the thick of the North Island now and when I got to Bulls, just north of Palmerston North, I veered off the highway and turned down into a little gully, where I found this very pretty scene - Parewahawaha Marae, tucked into a leafy rural backdrop. There was nobody about so I was unable to find out any of the marae's history; but sometimes a photo is enough.
